With a few tweaks, tubular herringbone is transformed into a sparkly and sophisticated necklace. Increasing, adding inclusions, fringing, and splitting the tube will be taught in class, along with a spiffy new way to start herringbone that doesn't involve the dreaded bead ladder. This necklace can also be made to feature one of the large rectangular Chinese crystals.
Supplies needed: 28mm triangle crystal, 4mm rondelles, 8 - 10 mm accent beads, size 8 seed beads, 6mm fire polish or crystal beads, size 11 seed beads, size 15 seed beads, fireline, wax, scissors, bead mat.
This project will not be finished in class. This class is suitable for an intermediate beader.
