If you are new to beading or want to expand you skills, come learn hand knotting. This technique is traditionally used for pearls but can also be used for glass and smooth semi-precious beads. Pieces that are knotted on silk cord have a lovely drape. Once you learn this technique you can also knot with thicker cords and leather. Class will consist of discussing cords, findings, and having lots of time to practice, and you're welcome to start a piece once you're comfortable with the technique.
You will learn to knot using small round nose pliers. Please bring round nose pliers if you have them and some 6-8mm small holed beads to practice with.
