A versatile technique that allows you to play with combinations of bead sizes, shapes, and colors. Kathie's recent piece (pictured) was inspired by some beautiful matte drops that enhance the ridge of the spiral.
This technique can also be used to make little shell like shapes that could be used for earrings or become beaded beads. Longer pieces could become ornaments, longer still bracelets and necklaces. The trick is getting it started, but then it's a piece you can work on whenever you have time.
This class is appropriate for an advanced beginner to intermediate beader.
